The Schmieding Center strongly recommends that the general public:

1. interview prospective caregivers,
2. require references from prospective caregivers,
3. secure an up-to-date background check for prospective caregivers, and,
4. BE SURE THAT THE CAREGIVERS YOU SELECT ARE PROPERLY TRAINED!!

To remain on this list, the individuals listed below:

1. must have successfully completed one or more modules of the Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Program,
2. are required to complete 12-hours of caregiver continuing education annually, and,
3. as their schedule permits, are willing to work as an independent, private caregiver.

The Schmieding Center does not assume liability for the acts of these individuals upon completion of our program.
