Are You Caring for Someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia? Take a Walk in Their Shoes

The Schmieding Center is offering a free program on September 8, 2017, from 9:00am to 3:00pm that will increase your understanding and empathy for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias!

Our program, Alzheimer’s Experience: Take A Walk in Their Shoes, simulates the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  The program will help health care providers and caregivers with their awareness of care options and living environments that are better suited to the needs of clients and loved ones that are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

Individual registrations are required to participate in each 15 minute session.   If you have questions, contact Schmieding Center Aging Services at 479-751-3043, extension 245.
