Adult Vaccination Event October 20
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Schmieding Caregiver Training Program and Walgreens are working together to provide adult vaccinations Oct. 20 at the South Arkansas Center on Aging Education Center.
From 9-11 a.m on the third floor of 106 West Main Street, Suite 310, adult vaccinations will be administered for flu and pneumonia. A booster vaccine for tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough will be given, too. Educational information on the importance of vaccinations will be distributed to patients.
Anyone interested in receiving a vaccination at the event should bring their insurance card for billing. Adult patients without insurance will only be able to receive the flu vaccination.
