Schmieding Center support groups provide an opportunity for you to gain information, share ideas, problem solve, and receive support from others who are going through similar situations.

All support groups are facilitated by our Schmieding Center experts and are open to the public.  Please join us for one of our regularly scheduled groups.

Caregivers of Persons with Dementia

Early Stage Dementia Support Group

This 8-week group is for people who are in the early stages of dementia and their care partners.  A care partner is not required in order to attend the group.  The group focuses on education regarding dementia, planning ahead, and resources available in the community.

Stroke Support Group

Share ideas, learn from others, and socialize with caregivers and stroke survivors.
