{"id":3893,"date":"2019-11-04T16:29:24","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T16:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uamscaregiving.org\/pinebluff\/?p=3893"},"modified":"2019-11-04T16:40:53","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T16:40:53","slug":"walk-with-ease-say-yes-to-your-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uamscaregiving.org\/pinebluff\/2019\/11\/04\/walk-with-ease-say-yes-to-your-health\/","title":{"rendered":"Walk with Ease: Say YES to Your Health!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease: a 6-Week Walking Program Presented By:\u00a0South Central Center on Aging \u2013 UAMS<\/p>\n<p>Participation is <u>FREE<\/u>!<\/p>\n<p>Walk with Ease was developed for adults with arthritis but it is also good for anyone who wants to be more active.\u00a0 The only pre-requisite is to be able to be on your feet for at least 10 minutes without increased pain.<\/p>\n<p>During the 6 weeks, you will meet 3 times per week and:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn how to exercise safely and comfortably<\/li>\n<li>Use methods to make walking fun<\/li>\n<li>Develop a doable personal walking plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each session will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Walking (10-35 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Stretching and Strengthening Exercise<\/li>\n<li>Health education information. Each participant receives a free workbook with tips and forms to set goals and track progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Seabrook YMCA: 6808 S.
