Scams are also prevalent on the internet and in email, and some scammers may even show up at your doorstep.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, Medicare plans and their representatives will never call you\u00a0if you are not yet enrolled in their plan unless you have given them permission to do so. Also, Medicare will never ask for your social security number, or your bank account or credit\/ debit card information over the phone or internet.
