She has 26 years of experience as an RN with over five of those in long-term care and 3 in home health. She was formerly the Director of Nursing of a skilled nursing facility in Benton, as well as a local nursing home in Jefferson County. Mrs. Bates began her career in nursing in 1999. She has worked her way from an LPN to an APRN and is currently working on her DNP. Mrs. Bates is a family nurse practitioner and specializes in kidney disease. She comes from a very diverse background as a nephrology nurse practitioner, state and federal surveyor, nurse consultant, nursing instructor, long-term care director of nursing, and hemodialysis nurse manager. Mrs. Bates brings a variety of skills to our team.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Bates has been married to her husband, Eric, for 18 years. They have two adult children.
