FREE Continuing Education Program

Geriatric Obesity:

Pathophysiology, Issues, and Management

This program is appropriate for community members and/or

paraprofessionals caring for older adults.

 

 

Applications for 1.00 contact hour for physical therapists, social workers, dietitians, and long term care providers have bee filed with the appropriate accrediting organizations. Determination is pending.

The UAMS Dept. of Family and Preventive Medicine is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the South Central Accreditation Program, and accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. All other accreditations managed by the Arkansas Geriatric Education Center.

This educational activity is co-provided by the Arkansas Geriatric Education Center UAMS, Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging and the UAMS Dept. of Family and Preventive Medicine.
