Healthy Eating and Tasting: Mediterranean Cooking Class

Join us on Tuesday, January 14th from 10:30 AM- 12:30 PM for our Monthly Healthy Eating & Tasting (HEAT): Mediterranean Cooking Class.

When: Second Tuesday of each month @ 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Where: Jefferson County Extension Office 500 Idaho Street, Pine Bluff, AR 71601

The South Central Center On Aging and Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service have partnered to bring community awareness of Mediterranean cooking. The Mediterranean diet is loaded with health benefits. The heart-healthy Mediterranean diet recipes are easy to prepare, so easy that a team of community senior volunteers provide a step-by-step demonstration on how to prepare and incorporate Mediterranean diet foods and meals into your life. This healthy cooking educational event is filled with fun. The most exciting part is that you get to fellowship and eat heart-healthy Mediterranean food. What a delight!
