Fall Wreath Making Classes

September is Healthy Aging Month! Nicole Bates, Director of Education at South Central Center on Aging, had a wonderful time with the participants at the Shepherd’s Center of Pine Bluff and St. John Alexander Tower Senior Housing Community for Fall Wreath Making. There are many benefits to arts and crafts, including adding a new interest/hobby to your life, meeting new friends, and enjoying fellowship with old friends. It is a great way to socialize while learning something new. Arts and crafts can have a positive impact on healthy aging by creating a sense of purpose and is an awesome brain exercise.
