Welcome, Nicole Bates, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CNN

We are pleased to welcome Nicole Bates as our new Director of Education for South Central Center on Aging. Mrs. Bates began her career in nursing in 1999. She has worked her way from an LPN to an APRN and is currently working on her DNP. Mrs. Bates is a family nurse practitioner and specializes in kidney disease. She comes from a very diverse background as a nephrology nurse practitioner, state and federal surveyor, nurse consultant, nursing instructor, long term care director of nursing, and hemodialysis nurse manager. Mrs. Bates brings a variety of skills to our team.

 Mrs. Bates has been married to her husband, Eric for 21 years. They have two adult children. She enjoys shopping and spending time outdoors gardening.

 Mrs. Bates will practice in a dual role as Director of Education and as a clinical nurse practitioner. Please help us in welcoming Mrs. Bates! We are excited and proud to have her as part of our UAMS South Central Center on Aging team!​
