Get Active to Protect Your Brain!
According to the National Institute on Aging, physical activity has been associated with a lower rate of Alzheimer’s disease as well as a slower rate of cognitive decline, including in those individuals who are already exhibiting symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Scientists have discovered links between motor abilities and cognitive test performance, as well as between physical activity and cognitive functioning.
