Coming up this week and next in Jonesboro are 2 events that will help caregivers meet those challenges with less difficulty.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A <em><strong>Caregiver Support Group<\/strong><\/em> for families of those living with Alzheimer&#8217;s.\u00a0 This monthly meeting, in cooperation with the Alzheimer&#8217;s Association, is provided free of charge for family caregivers.\u00a0Knowing what to expect and having access to the resources and support available can be empowering and lead to an increased commitment to your loved one.\u00a0 We are determined to help your through this together.\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The next meeting is Tuesday, March 19 at 4:30 p.m. &#8211; 303 E. Matthews, Suite 201 in Jonesboro.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>2. <em><strong>Family Caregiver Workshop &#8211; Caregiving Skills<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0&#8211; For anyone caring for someone in the home to assist with bathing, dressing, use of assistive devices, transferring, home safety (especially in the bathroom), wheelchair use and mobility.\u00a0 This one day workshop will be held on <strong>March, 27th from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Schmieding Caregiver Training Program location, 303 E. Matthews, Suite 201 in Jonesboro<\/strong>.
