You may not realize that you are a caregiver.\u00a0 Nearly every family in American is affected by caring for an older adult, an ill spouse or a person or child with a disability.\u00a0 Thousands of people give selflessly of their time and resources to help improve the quality of life for someone they love.<\/p>\n

During November, UAMS Schmieding Home Caregiver Training<\/span> <\/strong>program will be hosting FREE<\/span> <\/strong>events around the state to celebrate Family Caregivers.\u00a0 We recognize the value of your contributions, the need for respite, the trials you face on a daily basis.\u00a0 These events will provide opportunities for educational and community awareness programs that will have an impact all across the state.<\/p>\n

In JONESBORO,<\/span> <\/strong>we will be providing a FREE DEMENTIA CONFERENCE\u00a0<\/span><\/strong> on November 17 from 10 am to 4 pm<\/strong><\/span>. Join us for an inspiring day of education for family caregivers who are interested in learning MORE<\/span><\/strong> about resources, challenging conditions and how it affects their care recipient. Expert speakers will be on hand as well as vendors to help you along your journey.<\/p>\n
